Learn how you can save a life.

Learn how to recognize and treat anaphylaxis.

Allergic disease is the 5th most prevalent chronic disease among all ages, and the 3rd most prevalent among children. Every 3 minutes in North America, a food allergic reaction sends someone to the Emergency Room. Every 6 minutes, that Emergency Room visit is for anaphylaxis, that’s 10 patients per hour!

It’s extremely important for you to know how to respond to an allergic emergency (anaphylaxis), since anaphylaxis causes 1,500 deaths per year, and you may be the 1st or even the only person on the scene. In 25% of people requiring treatment, the reaction is their first episode, and they are completely unprepared.

For fifty percent of the people who die from anaphylaxis, the victims had life saving epinephrine, but it wasn’t used or it wasn’t used in time. The other fifty percent didn’t carry epinephrine despite their previous allergic episodes. At least 90% of the fatalities are preventable, and this course and your actions afterwards can improve those outcomes.

THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

Thank you EpiCenter Medical for providing an exceptional course about anaphylaxis management. This course WILL SAVE LIVES!… Considering I am an RN, who has managed ICU, ER and Critical Care-I didn’t expect to “learn” anything. Rather, I thought I would use this course to teach those who care for my daughter. Well, I am 100% positive that my own daughter is more safe today because I took this course. My husband, who is a physician, is also eager to become S.A.V.E Certified.

This course should be mandatory with every epinephrine prescription, or at least suggested with each. Your course is clear and accessible for all attention spans. I applaud the careful thought taken for these educational modules. I am so grateful to your company for creating this, and will be purchasing one for my husband and as many as we can afford for our daycare providers.
